Sound Electronics. trade mark 'Mitushi Cables' was established
in 1962 for the manufacturing of Plastic moulded components
for industrials purposes specially for UNION CARBIDE OF
INDIA. The company in 1968 took the development of PVC
Insulated Brass strip to be used as connecting conductors
between Switch & Bulb in Flash lights torches which
was being imported previously. With the Technical &
Financial assistance from UNION CARBIDE,simultaneously.
We started manufacture of Wires & Cables for various
applications such as Housing wiring, Railway Signaling,
Instrumentation and special purpose cables for Defence
Requirements, to our credit. We are the main source of
supply for Cables and Cables Assy, for special & Combat
vehicles manufactured by Indian Defence. Apart from this
we have indiginised numerous Cables Assy, for special
and Combat Vehicles, which were imported by Indian Defence.
As a policy matter, Mitushi had concept from the very
beginning that all the cable products manufactured in
our plant should be manufactured from the basic raw materials
such as Copper Wire rods, PVC Rasin and Chemical in our
own plant. To ensure the quality of final products, hence
we are eqquiped with Wire Drawings and PVC compounding
plants. This is why, our quality products meet all International
Specifications and is comparable with any other products
available in the Internatinal market.
Mitushi is Defence approved Vendor. We are following their
Q.A. procedures for the last 25 years. It is out of place
to mention that we have full fledge testing lab for testing
cables to various specifications IS : 1554 Part I &
II parameters. Every stage of testing is conducted by
our well conversant and qualified Engineers.
